BISHOP ASBURY R. SELLERS
Bishop Asbury R. Sellers is a man called and anointed by God to bring the gospel message to the world in this last day. Preaching the message of God's love and man's need to be delivered from the power of sin has been his driving vision for ministry. He has been in the ministry for over 50 years.
The borders of his ministry had its humble beginnings at the Mount Harmon Church of God in Dillon, South Carolina where the Bishop E.H. Bright guided Bishop Sellers in the faith and in his calling.
He was educated in the Public School System and graduated in 1960 from Gordon High School in Dillon, SC. He later attended Lee University, Cleveland, TN and Washington Bible College, Washington, DC and Virginia Bible College, Alexandria, Virginia. He received a Doctor of Humane Letters in 1994.
In 1961, he began his pastoral ministry serving in pastorates in Columbia, South Carolina, Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh, PA. In 1986, the Church of God Executive Committee appointed Bishop Sellers as a National Evangelist for the Church of God.
After serving as a national evangelist for eight years, preaching throughout the United States and in fifty seven countries, Bishop Sellers was appointed to serve the Church of God as Administrative Bishop of New Jersey. In January 1998, he was appointed Director of Evangelism-Black Ministries where He represented people of color
throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean for eight (8) years. He just published his first book,
Messages From the Throne.
Presently, Bishop Sellers and his wife have been appointed by the Church of God World Missions Department (Cleveland,TN) as Associate Missionaries to Africa. Also, he serves as President and Founder of Harvest Ministries, a world outreach ministry to the suffering and lost of Africa. Bishop Sellers has presently built and dedicated an orphanage and sanctuary in Moloto, South Africa. On June 12, 2015 Bishop Sellers has just penned his second book, Lord, Revive Us Again.
He is married to Leola and they have been blessed with five children and twelve (12) grandchildren.
